ANOVA Health Institute Driver

Anova Health Institute NPC is seeking a Driver or Operator in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Anova is a non-governmental organization dedicated to enhancing lives and promoting good health.

Responsibilities and Key Tasks

Transportation

  • Drive staff to and from clinics and the office.
  • Transport staff between the office and weekend events and Public Holidays.
  • Help set up and pack away event equipment.
  • Collect and deliver equipment, documents, etc., as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of client demographics using the transport service.
  • Record kilometers traveled and manage site visits in a logbook.
  • Immediately report vehicle accidents or damage.
  • Plan and assign vehicle trips daily.

Vehicle Maintenance

  • Fuel and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  • Ensure regular servicing and maintenance, including tires, brake pads, etc., for general safety compliance.
  • Prepare accident and incident reports when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Office Manager for vehicle license renewals.

Procurement

  • Support office tasks as needed.
  • Handle collection and delivery of goods and materials.
  • Organize collection and distribution.

General Office Assistance

  • Ensure training tools are always operational.
  • Provide additional services upon management request when not involved in transportation.
  • Assist with document photocopying and distribution.

Requirements and Experience

  • Valid Code 10 or 14 driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent practical experience
  • Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP)
  • Completion of Defensive Driving Course preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in the local language

Technical Skills and Knowledge

– Proficient in defensive driving techniques – Excellent customer service mindset – Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
