Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience – Assist customers in finding desired products – Address customer inquiries and concerns
2. Perform cashier duties – Handle cash and card transactions – Manage Lay-Bys and refunds – Report issues to supervisor – Maintain till balance
3. Execute merchandising tasks – Ensure correct pricing and display of stock – Maintain product availability on sales floor – Uphold cleanliness and order – Stay informed about promotions
4. Manage risks – Adhere to tagging policies – Participate in stocktakes – Monitor for theft and fraudulent activities, reporting suspicious behavior
5. Uphold Ackermans values, policies, and procedures consistently.
Criteria:
- South African citizenship required
- Proficiency in spoken, written English
- Matric qualification
- Currently unemployed
- Not enrolled in another tertiary institution
- Not participating in other learnerships.
