The GRV Clerk (Pricing/Receiving Clerk) is responsible for maintaining Retail Systems (SS3) by completing input and reconciliation tasks, processing claims, entering category stock takes, and offering systems support for inventory control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Updating inventory data such as invoices, claims, and new suppliers/codes – Managing the GRV register – Maintaining pricing and point of sale systems – Generating reports, including sales postings and end-of-day reports – Conducting category stock takes – Handling transfers and Ex-Swell procedures – Managing hygiene and housekeeping standards – Placing orders and overseeing promotions – Performing Spar system 3 backups

Minimum requirements:
- Matric/NQF level 4 or equivalent qualification with Mathematics
- At least 2 years of experience in the retail industry
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in receiving/merchandising
- At least 1 year of experience in computer usage

- Retail operations
- Product knowledge
- Shrinkage
