Must have prior Out of Home Channel Sales experience in Education, Hospitality, CVS (Forecourts), and Business & Industry (Offices).

A day in the life of a Solution Sales Rep involves:

  • Cold calling to identify, source, and close new business opportunities for lead generation in line with set KPIs measured weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • This role requires negotiating and communicating with senior decision-makers to secure long-term contracts for coffee machines and ingredients.
  • Understanding and analyzing customer needs to provide appropriate coffee machine solutions is essential.
  • Additionally, implementing successful plans and promotions at customer and regional levels to drive the coffee solutions business is crucial.
  • Managing the allocated sales territory and achieving monthly and annual targets for coffee ingredients sales and machine placements is key.
  • Providing outstanding customer service relationship management by investigating and resolving all customer queries and complaints related to the beverage solutions business is part of the daily tasks.
  • Monthly business planning with accurate forecasting, maintaining a clean debtor’s book, resolving outstanding accounts promptly, and providing timely feedback and updates on administrative tasks are also essential responsibilities.

To achieve success:

  • One must have a deep understanding of the Coffee Industry and its current trends, as well as the technical aspects of coffee machines.
  • Additionally, being a self-motivated individual who pays close attention to detail and excels in planning routes within assigned territories is crucial.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience is required, along with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of closing deals within various industries such as Coffee, FMCG, Hospitality, and Office Automation.
  • A degree or diploma in BCom, Sales & Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications, SAP, and C4C is necessary, along with a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience in Key Accounts and Field Sales Management is advantageous, as is a strong understanding of financial concepts such as ROI (Return on Investment).
