Minimum requirements include:
- Completion of Grade 10
- Possession of a Tyre fitment certificate or Wheel Alignment certificate (an added advantage)
- Relevant work experience
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.

- Performing wheel alignment
- Wheel balancing
- Tyre puncture repairs
- Suspension checks and repairs
- Brake replacements and adjustments
- Minor and major services on various vehicle brands
- Clutch overhauls
- Vehicle diagnosis
- Reporting
